Oil /Lube Technician

Qualifications:

Lube tech experience: 1 year
Tire experience: 1 year
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Honest and great work ethic
Good time management on the job
Punctual
Self starter
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time with your hands above your head
Reliable transportation to and from work
High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities/duties:

Main responsibilities and duties:

Changing oil and filters on vehicles in a timely manner
Change/rotate tires on vehicles in a timely manner
Keeping the oil change area/shop clean
Organizing/restocking oil filters and other shop supplies

May also be required to:

Perform seasonal duties, inside and outside the shop
Detail/wash lot vehicles

Automotive Technician

Qualifications:

Automotive Technician experience: 3-7 years
ASE Certification is a plus
Technical degree is a plus
Drivability/Diagnostics
Have full body mobility
Good time management skills
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time with your hands above your head
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Must have own tools, a locking tool box and ability to use the tools
Honest and great work ethic
Reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to pass a pre-employement drug test

Responsibilities and duties:

Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, air conditioning, etc.
Provide correct estimates on vehicles for automotive repairs
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors
Preform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, and tire rotations
Repair (disassemble and reassemble parts) vehicles in the allotted time as estimated
Keep the shop clean, organized and presentable
Use testing equipment to ensure repairs and maintenance are effective
Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
